Patients / members of the general public

Diabetes Professional Care provides vital CPD accredited education and upskilling for registered healthcare professionals to continually develop and improve their delivery of care in practice. This does, unfortunately, mean that we are unable to allow patients and members of the general public to attend, in order to comply with the ABPI Code of Practice.

We may contact you on behalf of third parties (such as our exhibitors, sponsors and partners) promoting their products, events and services which we think may interest you. This may include promotional emails from pharmaceutical companies in relation to prescription only medicines.

Marketing communications from third parties

In some cases, we may share your name and email address with carefully selected third parties (such as our exhibitors, sponsors and partners) who we believe you will benefit from hearing from.

At our events your delegate badge may, with your permission, be scanned by sponsor or exhibiting companies in the exhibition hall. If you allow your badge to be scanned, you agree for those companies to contact you about their products, events and services – some of which may be promotional in nature. This may affect any previous permissions you may have given when registering for the event.

If you attend a session as part of an event and you agree to your delegate badge being scanned by us at that session, we may share your registration details with the seminar / conference theatre sponsors of the sessions you attend. They may contact you about similar products, events and services related to your area of interest.

You can opt out of receiving marketing from third parties at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in their emails or by contacting them directly. You can also contact them to ask them to delete your personal data.

CloserStill Media are measuring the carbon foot print of our events and as such, we require a little information about how you will travel to Diabetes Professional Care.

PLEASE READ: Only registered healthcare professionals working within private care, social care, the NHS, private hospital, hospice, ICSs/ICBs, CSU, military, local authority, arm’s length body, academic organisations or secure environments are eligible to attend for free. The organisers of Diabetes Professional Care will have the final decision to validate the pass.

NB: The charge for entry will apply if you are a registered healthcare professional attending on behalf of a supplier to the healthcare sector.
